Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their second child. The announcement came on Valentine's Day as the couple shared the happy news with the world through a stunning black and white photo, shot remotely by their friend and longtime photographer, Misan Harriman. The two looked at each other cheerfully in an outdoor setting. Meghan was in a flowing dress, the same one she wore when she was pregnant with Archie made by Carolina Herrera. She was resting her head on Harry's leg with her hand gently placed on the baby-bump.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child." Archie Harrison will be turning two this May. Harriman shared the picture of the happy couple and stated, Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honored to capture it grow. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news! She also mentioned that the picture was shot remotely through an iPad, which has been the norm during the pandemic.
Guys, it was exactly 37 years ago today that Princess Diana announced that she was expecting her second child, Prince Harry. Buckingham Palace also released a statement following the exciting announcement that read: "Her Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and the entire family are delighted and wish them well," a spokesperson said, as per TODAY. The new baby will be the fifth grandchild of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. The due date for the child was not disclosed. This news comes after Meghan revealed in a New York Times op-ed last July that she had suffered a miscarriage of what would have been her second child. "I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second," she had written.

Speaking about the isolation that comes with the taboo of miscarriage, the op-ed had allowed more people to bravely share their stories. After the passage of several months, the couple is now welcoming their rainbow baby. According to The Guardian, this baby will be eighth in line to the throne and entitled to be a Lord or Lady. But after stepping down from their senior royal roles, the duke and duchess are expected to again opt for Master, as they did with Archie, or Miss, with the surname Mountbatten-Windsor. Zara Tindall is also due in 2021. Princess Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, gave birth to a baby boy on February 9.
"It's magic. It's pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I'm really happy," Meghan said after Archie's birth in 2019. "He's just been a dream." The family of three will now be a family of four. Harry had stated, "It's been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine. [We look forward to spending] precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up." He had also mentioned on different occasions that he would like to expand his family and have a maximum of two children, according to Forbes. Their family planning is right on track at this point.
